Terms & Conditions for Bridal Makeup

 

Deposit / Payment

I require a non-refundable or transferable booking fee/deposit to secure your wedding date. This fee/deposit will be held against your booking and then deducted from your final invoice.

The wedding date is only confirmed upon receipt of payment within 7 days from receiving payment details.

Wedding invoice payment is due 14 days prior to the wedding date via bank transfer, or by cash payment on the day prior to commencement of services.

I require a minimum of four people for makeup to travel on your wedding day. Any changes to final numbers for makeup within one month of the wedding day will still need to be paid for.

Cancellations / Changes

The booking fee/deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Reschedules 6 months – 12 months prior to your wedding date at my discretion may be transferable.

Please notify any location or time changes as soon as possible. This may modify the price of your quote due to travel fee & other factors.

In the unlikely event, I become extremely unwell and cannot perform my services as arranged, I will contact you and arrange for your deposit to be refunded to you or transferred to another makeup artist who will look after your wedding makeup.

Travel / Parking Fees

A travel fee may be incurred depending on distance required to travel. If in the event that any hotel/motel and parking fees are incurred as result of the location of the booking, these will be passed on to the client. If onsite parking is not available you must notify Renee immediately so other arrangements can be made.
 

Photos / Content

I may use your photographs on my website, social media platforms and promotional material. Please let me know if you do not wish me to do so.

Allergies and Hygiene


Unless a list of ingredients of potential reactive ingredients are presented to me before the makeup application, Renee Jean Makeup Artist, is not responsible for any reactions to makeup. If you or your bridal party are suffering from any type of contagious illness including, but not limited to, conjunctivitis, eye styes/cysts, cold sores, open wounds/cuts on the face and neck, staph infection, head lice, or a flu or other contagious illness, I need to be informed as a matter of urgency and reserve the right to refuse service of any infectious person. This is a precaution taken in order to ensure non-contamination of kits and brushes, despite the fact all items are sanitised between clients.

Makeup Trials

A Bridal Makeup trial is highly recommended to be arranged prior to your wedding day. This allows us to create the perfect makeup look for you. Trials take place at my studio in Stones Corner. I advise you book the trial in as soon as possible to ensure we are the right fit.

Please prepare for the trial as you would for the wedding day to ensure the finished makeup look is what you can expect on the wedding day. This may include eyebrow & lash grooming, spray tan or prior skin treatments.

At the bridal trial we can try different colours and styles within the 1.5 hour appointment. Please bring along any inspirational photos of what you would like and I will tailor this inspiration to compliment your natural features using my own signature style. It is also great to wear neutral or white colours.

Makeup Requirements

Please note faces must be cleansed and moisturised the morning of your wedding or event. It is your responsibility to advise me of any pre-existing skin conditions or allergies prior to the appointment so I can do my best to ensure your safety. If prepping for the day, please ensure you have trialled and tested any face masks / treatments you have purchased specifically for your wedding or event.  

COVID-19

I have always been committed to protecting your health and safety and of course my own, so hygiene has always been part of my business operations. Due to the nature of COVID-19 I am taking additional measures required by law to safely continue to provide hair and makeup services. I ask that you do not attend your appointment if you or anyone else is feeling unwell, have flu like symptoms, or if you have been in contact with a confirmed case and have been directed to self-isolate or you become unwell during the appointment.
